Admission to Haydon Abbey Pre-School
Haydon Abbey School manages admissions in modern premises on a site near the main school, on Holman Street. The Pre-School follow the same ethos and expectations as the main school and is managed by the same leadership team and governing body.
The Pre-School provides a vibrant and exciting setting where children enjoy their education and learning and make good progress in a stimulating environment. Staff are committed to developing the whole child through creativity and diversity. Our very youngest children are supported and guided in order to grow into confident, happy, independent lifelong learners ready for their entrance into school.
Pre-School follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and Development Matters. Children’s progress and attainment is assessed against the frameworks. The following key themes are adhered to:
Every child is Unique
Providing positive relationships
Enabling environments
Learning and Development
