Good morning.

We are excited to announce that we will be sharing resources each Wednesday as part of our ‘Wake Up Wednesday’ (WUW) campaign. In an ever-changing digital world, children often use websites and apps that are unfamiliar to their parents. Our goal is to provide you with weekly articles and "What Parents/Carers Need to Know" guides to help you navigate these challenges with confidence.

How you can support your child:

  • Critical Thinking: Encourage your child to question what they see online, including fake news, scams, and fake followers.
  • Healthy Skepticism: Help them understand that people online may not always be who they say they are.
  • Open Conversation: Share your knowledge of healthy versus unhealthy relationships.
  • Reporting: Ensure they know how to report worrying behaviour through the Internet Watch Foundation or CEOP.

By helping our children go online safely and responsibly, we are better preparing them for their futures.

This week the topics are: WhatsApp and Online Safety see the attached guides.

Kind regards.
