At Haydon Abbey, safeguarding our pupils is our top priority. We are committed to creating a safe, caring and supportive environment where every child feels valued and protected. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility — and we work closely with families and professionals to make sure our children receive the right help at the right time.
If you ever have a concern about a child’s safety or wellbeing, you can always speak to one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) in school.
You can contact us via the school office on 01296 482278 — we are always here to listen and offer support.
However, please remember that anyone can raise a safeguarding concern directly with Buckinghamshire Council if they believe a child may be at risk of harm.

In Buckinghamshire, professionals use the Continuum of Need document to identify the right level of support for children and families. This helps to ensure that children receive the right help at the right time, whether through early support within school or through external services.
