Kingsley our Therapy Rabbit

Kingsley is the newest member of the Inclusion Team and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board!

 

Kingsley is in school every day to support our pupils.  Any child who may have any worries or concerns can come and spend time with Kingsley.  Studies have shown that interacting with animals has been shown to decrease levels of cortisol (a stress related hormone) so having Kingsley on the team helps provide a calm and relaxed space for our children when they are feeling stressed.

 

Time spent with Kingsley can support the social and emotional needs of the child – the children show Kingsley care, love, empathy & compassion while in return he offers a non-judgemental listening ear or just simply a cosy calming cuddle!
