PE Ambassadors

Each class at Haydon Abbey has two PE Ambassadors that make up the School Sports Organising Committee.

Their role is to discuss with their class and then within committee meetings with Mr Andrews

• Sports and activities learnt in PE lessons
• Promote and suggest new sports or changes for inter-house competitions
• Make suggestions for after school clubs
• Assist the teacher in PE lessons by organising equipment, leading activities and supporting/buddying others

This half term the PE Ambassadors have surveyed their class about after school sports clubs and sports clubs outside of school. The purpose of the survey is to find out how active the children are outside of school time, offer new after-school club opportunities which the children are interested to learn more about and create links to clubs outside of school.
