Learning Support Assistants to Support Child with Medical Needs

9:00am – 3:30pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break) Term Time Only

Bucks Pay Range 1B Point 6 £17,017 Pro Rata

 

Haydon Abbey is a very successful ‘good’ school in the centre of Aylesbury. We have a highly professional team of teaching and support staff with a commitment to staff development at all levels. We are very well resourced across all areas of the curriculum and are committed to providing the best possible education for our children.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and innovative people to join our dynamic school where children are at the forefront of everything we do.  We have an excellent record of developing all members of staff and can offer you high quality and tailored professional development in order to pursue, and develop your role.   

 

Applicants are required to support the learning of individual children. We are also looking for the right people to support children with special educational needs. Experience of working with children with a medical need  is desirable but not essential. Candidates need to have a willingness to engage with the whole school community. A good level of English and Maths skills is essential.

The role will include:

 

  •       working alongside class teachers in a specific phase in the school   
  •       supporting individual, children with their learning
  •       being responsible for the learning and achievement of children you work with
  •       supporting children in a pastoral role
  •       working within a team
  •       demonstrating high expectations for children
  •       withholding the school values at all times
  •       being highly professional

 

You will be joining an existing team of supportive Learning Support Assistants. Training and support will be an ongoing aspect of the role. Please specify in your application your preferred age range of children you would like to support.

Learning Support Assistants to work with children with Special Educational Needs KS1 and KS2

Immediate start

8:45am – 3:15pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break) Term Time Only (times may vary due to Covid 19)

Bucks Pay Range 1B Point 6 £17,017pro rata
