MS Teacher to cover PPA and Management Time

Spring Term 2018 (or immediate start if possible)

 

 

We have an exciting opportunity, for the right candidate, to join our friendly and professional team of teachers to cover PPA and Management Time. We are a two form entry school and admit children from two years of age. The candidate must have a record of good teaching in order to maintain the high standards that we expect for our children. Adaptability, resilience and the ability to think on their feet will be essential in this varied and evolving role, as will an ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

 

Haydon Abbey is a very successful ‘good’ school in the centre of Aylesbury. We have a highly professional team of teaching and support staff who are dedicated to providing the best outcomes for children. We are extremely nurturing with an excellent Pastoral Team who work alongside staff enabling children to access the curriculum. Job Description - PPA Teacher

Haydon Abbey School and Pre-School

Nursery Teacher Permanent Contract Full Time

Spring Term 2018

 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated teacher to work in our happy and successful Nursery. Our Nursery is sited in a purpose built premises adjacent to the school. Situated in the same building as our Pre-School. These early years’ classes mirror the same policies and procedures, and ethos and expectations as the main school.

 

The Nursery is extremely well resourced and provides excellent provision for our youngest children as well as a warm and inviting working environment.

 

The successful candidates will:

  • be an excellent Early Years Practitioner
  • have a proven track record of improving pupil progress
  • have high expectations of the children they teach
  • have a good understanding of behaviour management
  • have an excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • enjoy working within a team
  • have an interest in new developments
  • have a desire to be involved in school improvement
  • be committed to working in partnership with parents
