Year 6  Once again Haydon Abbey have put themselves in top league position going into the Easter break. In this short but competitive league, Haydon Abbey have eight points from their first four games. The first fixture of the season saw Haydon Abbey visit William Harding in a game that finished 2-2 – the goals scored by Joshua.  
 
The reverse fixture saw an extremely strong performance by the Haydon Abbey defence to ensure a clean sheet. The game finishing 1-0 to the home side - the goal scored by Ellis and Man of the Match was Umar.  Two further games have been played against Broughton resulting in a 6-2 win and a 1-1 draw. 
 
Year 5 and 6 With two games to go Haydon Abbey have once again impressed in the Year 5 and 6 boys league, playing five games already this term. Haydon Abbey’s record is as followed:   Swanbourne 2-2  Haydon 5-0 Saint Louis - goals scored by Levi 2 and Taylor 1 (Y5), Joshua 2 (Y6)  Haydon Abbey 6-2 North Marsden – goals scored by Jaydon 2 (Y6), Levi 2 and Taylor 1 (Y5) Haydon Abbey 0-0 Bierton Haydon Abbey 7-0 Whitchurch – goals scored by Ben 2, Levi 1, Finley 2, Taylor 1 (Y5) and Jaydon 1 (Y6) 
 
We are extremely proud of the teams for the great sportsmanship they have displayed in all of their matches. They are a credit to the school.
